Nominations Now Open for Marietta Community Foundation’s 25 Under 25

Washington County – Marietta Community Foundation is excited to announce that nominations are now open for its 25 Under 25 program, a prestigious initiative celebrating young leaders who are making a meaningful impact across Washington County.

Launched in 2024 as part of MCF’s 50th anniversary, 25 Under 25 was created to recognize the next generation of changemakers in Washington County. This honor celebrates 25 individuals under the age of 25 who are already making waves—leading, serving, and shaping the future of our community in powerful and inspiring ways.

Nominees must be 25 years old or younger as of January 1, 2026, reside in Washington County, Ohio or have a significant connection to the area, and must not have been previously recognized as a 25 Under 25 honoree.

MCF encourages community members, educators, employers, family members, parents, and peers to submit nominations for outstanding young individuals who are making a difference—whether through leadership, volunteerism, innovation, or service.

“Being named to the 25 Under 25 list was an incredible honor and a reminder that the work young people are doing in our community truly matters,” said Kirsten Kroft, a 2024 honoree. “It showed me that impact isn’t always about big moments…it’s about consistently showing up for your community. Even after moving away to college, that mindset has stayed with me, and I continue to give back because I know how much those small moments matter.”

Nominations will remain open until May 31, and selected honorees will be recognized in July.
